I was last there in 2018 with one of my friends and I'm hoping to go again this year with my mom. We plan to take my two nephews! The younger one is a Raptors fan, so we want him to be able to see a live game. I do enjoy some winter activities (skiing, snowshoeing and skating), but only if I have friends to go with.

I too have so many vintage Christmas cards, but no post cards :/ I use them to decorate since most are written in! You are so right, I'm constantly busy! And on top of being busy with the holidays i'm also in the process of buying a house! so crazy busy!! Here's the doggies in age order! Miley - shes a hound dog, lab, sheeba, terrier mix! (shes one of the two in my profile picture) she's my old lady, i've had her since highschool she turns 10 in february and although not very naughty she does like to adventure so if i dont put her on a lead as soon as she's let out she will take off haha Bobby - german shepard he just turned 4 in october! he's my husbands first german shepard, i bought him for him for christmas when we were dating. Although he is sweet as a button he sounds and looks scary so lots of people are just scared to death of him. Harry - my sweet sweet baby he's a mix between my old lady miley and bobby so he is their son. he's the sweetest boy and full of personality and his birthday is actually coming up on the 18th of this month and he will be 3! (he's the furry one in my profile picture!) Missy - german shepard she's the sweetest little thing and full of spunk and personality she's our newest german shepard and we should be having puppies here in the future with her and bobby - she will be 1 in january! and finally.... henry - he's the baby and we actually just found him a home with my in laws! again he is the baby of miley and bobby, since miley is getting older henry was the only puppy she had with this litter, he was also a very big surprise haha he will be 1 june! he's such a big sweety pie and i absolutely adored him but he does my inlaws so much good!

To be honest, I was half expecting there to be a few more stamps in the little envelope… I know some people put a few more in just in case they have duplicates by mistake, or to destash a little or to provide more variety in case the partner is picky. But there were 10 inside: no more and no fewer than the swap called for. (Wait - on re-counting, I see that two of them had stuck together. So 11. A baker’s dozen… swapper’s ten? :D) But! What was around the stamps really made the swap stand out! I loved the personalised notecard you used! And the little swap card is also cute! And thanks for writing about the local weather :) We had temperatures just under freezing early last week but that’s history now; my daughter’s ‘snow gummy-bear’ finally melted away in the night before Friday, after having looked less and less recogniseable for several days and being no more than about 10 cm tall on Thursday evening. I hope you survive the winter :) And thanks again for the extraordinary swap!

Comment: I hope this is the swap your card was for. You forgot to write the swap name on it. I loved everything! The Yummy Party Potatoes recipe is a family favorite of my family also. My late mother-in-law always made them for every holiday. Now it is a family tradition that we carry on. Her recipe calls for cream of celery soup but I have used cream of chicken, cream of mushroom and cream of broccoli. It always turns out yummy. I hope you are liking Swap-Bot, it sure is addictive!
