Why is MOST every coordinator makes swaps, that have to be in an envelope??? Why can't it be senders choice or receivers choice?

First of all, a postcard was designed to be mailed without an envelope... that's the beauty of a postcard! Secondly, in a swap that's designed to have eleven partners, mailing all eleven in envelopes would be $.15 x 11= $1.65 more expensive (and that doesn't include the cost of the envelopes). Personally, since ratings are mostly based on following directions for postcard swaps, I do like those swaps that spell out the requirements so they can't be misinterpreted for both parties. Just makes it easier to join or move on to a different swap, IMHO!
