Who Are Those People? Write a story

Choose a famous painting you've always found interesting -- a portrait of one person or a scene, any era, any style -- and write a short story about the people or what's happening in the painting.

If you can print the painting at the head of your story -- or maybe you have a postcard of it or can photocopy it from a book. At least give your partner an internet link to find a representation of the painting.

Write at story that's at least a page and a half long -- or as much longer as the story needs to be.

You will have one partner and most of a month to do it. But you don't have to wait for partners to be assigned; you can start when you join the swap.
