Our fist swap - thanks to Nanamint for the idea! You get two partners. To each you send:

1) a penpal letter telling your partner about your religion/spirituality, or a religion you like. 2) a prayer, writing, passage from a sacred text, or something inspirational from your faith/spirituality. 3) a small surprise relating to your religion/spirituality.

I am confused by part 3 of this swap. What sort of gift/surprise do you mean? Could you give examples?

I was thinking something related to your faith that would fit into a regular envelope: a bookmark, ATC, tiny booklet of something inspiring, those little coin-shaped things with angels or buddhas on them, postcard, little charm, stickers, etc. Of course you are welcome to do something a little bigger, but the minimum is just something small. Some bigger ideas that I've given/received in a previous religious swaps: small Buddha figure, yarmulke, small set of runes, booklet of inspirational writings, books, dreidel, CD, incense, etc.

Anyone else want to add to the list of ideas?
