This swap is to make 1 tip-in page for each of 3 partners. Theme is My tradition or what I believe. Interpret that anyway you see fit.

Size requirements: 5.5 x 7.5 w/ 1/2 inch left blank for binding Please make your creation in landscape format (height smaller than width) so that we all will have uniformity in our pages.

I will have other swaps, in other themes so that we each could have a "Crafty Witches" chunky book. :-)

This swap in not partner specific, so you can start as soon as you sign up!

I've never done a tip-in or chunky book before. It looks pretty straightforward - like an oversized ATC with two sides and a margin. Is there anything else special about them I should know?

Is the half inch we leave blank part of the 5.5 or the 7.5? In other words is our actual creation 5 x 7.5 or 5.5 x 7 ? I so don't want to screw this up if it's my first one!

Looks like a lot of fun!

Nope, you've pretty much got the idea down. The 1/2 is part of the 5.5 x 7.5 proposed size. The 1/2 would be on the 5.5 side b/c of making the page in landscape format.

Is it supposed to be 5.5 x 8.5? (Previous tip-ins that I've done have all been made with an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper folded in half lengthwise to create 8.5 high by 5.5 wide tip-in.) Thanks! and sorry if I cause any confusion with this question.

It's 5.5 x 7.5 b/c I found that is the most common card stock available at the craft stores I visited. :-) But, if you'd like to start a swap with the other dimensions, please let me know. :-D
