Description:

We will be making a Sewn Bookmark out of Denim Blue Jean Fabric with Lace Trim ( This can be cut from Clean Recycled Bluejeans )

Requirements: Denim Fabric and Lace Trim
** Finished Size: 2 inches wide by 8 inches Long**

Neatly Hemmed all around if you are only using 1 layer of fabric. You can sew on the lace around the Edges, down thru the middle, across or up and down etc.. must use at least 8 inches or more of Lace trim ! Watch your Measurements ! !

Do you have links to examples of the types of bookmarks you are thinking of using denim fabric?

The Sample above was made with 1 layer of Blue jean Fabric + the lace. I sewed the lace on then Hemmed it by machine all around, ( neatly trimmed in the back. Or you can sew lace on then using another layer of Fabric sew right sides together (3 sides,) then turn right side out and tuck the fabric at bottom in about 1/4 inch and sew across. Make sure your layers are cut bigger to allow for the 2 inch x 8 inch Finished Size...
