Using dye based ink, press your stamp into the ink pad. Spray a light coating of water onto the inked stamp & press it onto your cardstock. Without inking again, spray the stamp with water again & stamp again. You can do this a 3rd time. For my sample, you can see a slight watercolored effect on the first butterfly. A more watered down look for the 2nd butterfly & a barely there look on the 3rd butterfly. You can use your work as an embellishment or have it as the main part of your ATC. For example, I may use the butterflies as an embellishment on my ATC. Be sure to let it dry before you use it. Be sure to add this to a sturdy backing. You need to use a water based ink for this method. A stamp with not a lot of fine detail works best. One partner will receive one ATC. | |
