Super easy swap. Create a haiku poem that you feel represents the month of June for you. Write it nicely on a somewhat decorated (or wildly decorated, if you prefer) page. Mail it to your partner. If you feel your poem needs explanation, because June is special to you for a reason that would not be obvious to everyone, feel free to add a note to that effect. The poem, however, should be on its own piece of paper.

The one and only rule is that you have to follow the haiku structure:

I am not setting a rating on this one, but I will check all participants before assigning partners. If you have any unresolved and unexplained 1's, and you want to join, please PM me. I reserve the right to remove people from the swap based on their past behaviour and/or anti-social attitude. :)

I have a few questions:

Is there a minimum or maximum size for the page with the haiku?

Is the haiku to be hand written?

Are there any specific requirements for the decorations? E.g., are stickers, digital images, etc. allowed?

@TerryF no real size requirement for the page, although I would like to see at least a 3x5" card minimum. If you want to put your haiku on poster board, go for it. :) . Handwritten is nice, but typed is acceptable. Not everyone has full use of their hands and not everyone loves their own hand-writing. I will leave decorations up to the senders, because the amount and type of decoration will depend very heavily on the content of the poem. Haiku poems are, by their nature, minimalist, so even a nice border around your poem would be considered decoration and should merit a "5" rating from your partner, if the other elements of the swap are met.

Good questions, because making the right choices may be the bump to move the rating from a 5 to a 5 with a heart. :)
