Altered Spools: February

The 2nd in the series of altered spools for 2016!

For February, you will alter a wooden spool into a miniature book. You can use paper, muslin, tissue paper, book pages, etc. for the scroll. Basically, all you do is cut a length of paper (or other material) to create a scroll upon which to create a book. Glue one end down to the spool and now, the fun begins---stamp, sew, paint, etc. to create a themed book for you partner. You're only limited by your imagination. Have fun!!
