Writerly Notions

Send your partner an example of your favorite writerly notion and a note on why it's important to you.

Examples:

• fingerless gloves because they make you feel creative

• color-coded index cards because you use them for plotting, etc.

• flash drive because you're obsessive about backing up your work

• tea/coffee because you can't function without it

• a quote/poster/image that inspires you

Those are just examples. Think about the thing you absolutely cannot live without as a writer. It might be a tool, a book, an article of clothing, a worry stone/totem, etc. Whatever your favorite writerly notion is, send one to your partner with a note explaining how/why it became important to you.
