Today /01/16/17 was checking old threads in our group and found (this one:Sewing on your postcards) by @taeniura which is great and I thought this would be a great swap. I am not sure if was set up in the past but if so, let's repeat it and if not, let's do it!! And thank you again @taeniura to brought this subject to the group (I have done this but only with fabrics).

Basics:

  • You have 1 partner

  • You send 1 postcard size 4''x6''

  • Theme is absolutely sender's choice

  • Technique is paper sewn in collage (handame or with the machine)

  • Can be sent in envie or naked (in comments section please state your preference)

  • Remember to add your username and swap name on the card.

  • Only4.99 & up

  • I will angel. Make sure to rate your partner accordingly and message me (I hope for the best this will not be needed :-)

Any suggestions or corrections feel free to comment! I am new at doing swaps and still learning so any feedback is always welcome!!

Notes:

  • If no many members sign, I will change the # of partners to 1
  • At least 4 members signed in order to mantain the swap

I would like mine in an envie....the South African mail service is sometimes a bit harsh on handmade postcards. I hope that my partners would also like theirs in envie's as I would like to add some goodies for them :)

Hello @ktk8 ! It is a valid option. We can wait to see the final number of entries and if small number, I will be assigning only 1 member. But also it would be great if people interested and/or watching the swap, comment if they prefer 1 or 2 partners so we could let the majority decide :-)..

All sewn & no glue? or as long as there is some glue & paper, is it ok to perhaps gave fabric, glue, lace, whatever on as well? Prefer one partner.

Hello @Lady yes!! The main idea is to highlight the sewing part when making the collage but each person will secure the pieces in the most preferred way... :-) I hope this is what you're asking for, If I did not understood just write me again :-)
