I have recently been making some " queen bees" just for fun. I thought it would be fun to make one for our partner incorporating a positive word or message, similar to the little birds we have done in the past. The bees I made are about 6" tall and 7"wide, including wings. They are made from chipboard and paper mostly. If you make your bee somewhere between the size of an ATC ( 3.5" x 2.5" ) and the size of the one I made you should be fine. Make them from anything you like to work with just as long as they are sturdy and have a way to be hung up or otherwise displayed ( say by adding a clothespin or clip on the back). Be sure to include a positive word or phrase on them somewhere! The picture is of another bee I made and not representative at all of the bees we are making.Although you certainly could make one like it if you wished! :) | |
