I was just in a swap similiar to this one and the postcard got pretty crinkled packaged in with the magnet. It really helps to put the postcard in something stiff to protect it.

mirage: spot on, i love sending friends postcards - they laugh at me for sending them in envelopes backed with card but they always arrive in beautiful condition ;) !
