The Inspiration

I have a collection of fountain pens and a stash of inks just crying out to be used—I can’t be the only one, right? So, let’s grab our favourite fountain pen (or dip pen) and ink and write a letter.

The Swap

  • Write a 2-page letter to your partner using a fountain pen or dip pen and ink.
  • Topic is sender’s choice.
  • However, somewhere in your letter, please let your partner know which pen, nib, and ink you used.
  • You may use more than one pen or ink if you wish.

Rating Requirements

  • Minimum rating for this swap is 4.95
  • At least 5 completed and rated type 2 or 3 swaps in the past three months.

Would it be possible for me to use a dip pen instead? I could tell the nib I used, and ink too. I do hand calligraphy using pointed pen- not fountain pen.

I’m wondering the same as Milamom. I have many different nibs and inks as well. I do have a few fountain pens but don’t have any cartridges for them atm. I mainly use dip pens and inks. Thanks
