Remember those days when you used to write out a valentine for every member of your class and take them to school to put in their homemade valentine box or envelope? Who says we've outgrown this custom? I've revised it a bit but here's the basics...you will have 5 partners. Write out one of the small classroom sized valentines to each of your partners and place it inside a notecard - store bought or homemade. This is to insure that the small valentine doesn't get lost in the mail because of size. The notecard does not have to be a valentine themed one. Inside the notecard, write the name of the swap and your swapbot name so your partner knows who it is from. Write a little note about what you like to do on Valentine's Day - if you celebrate, send cards, go out for dinner with your special someone...anything that describes \your February 14th. You can add a little something to the swap such as stickers, some list pad paper, washi tape samples, etc., but it is not a requirement of the swap. Send the cards off by or on the due date and decorate the envelope. Make it special and something that you would like to receive!\ I will angel if necessary but hope everyone will honor their swap obligation. Have fun and Happy Valentine's Day! | |
