Can 2 of the same item be counted as 2 or does it have to be 10 different items?

I think she means 10 different items, as it could get confusing if somebody sends stationary for example and counts it as 2

Yes, the same item would be considered as one. you would have to send 10 different items. you can double up if that's what you want but all together it must be 10 different items.
