Hello Sisters!!

Do you remember tracing your hand in school and decorating it? Or making turkeys with it? Lol Well let’s get out the old cardboard or card stock and lots of junky/crappy collage bits and bobs, seam binding, junk jewelry—whatever lights your creative fire and have some fun decorating our hands and turning them into ornaments.

I saw the idea for “Hands of Whimsey” ornaments surfing Etsy, in MyRetroSoul’s shop. She sells kits to make these that look really cool. I thought most of us crafty gals have everything we need, and then some, to make these with stuff from our crap-load of stuff stashes!! 🤗😎

So why not make a swap out of it?

You will make 1 Whimsical Hand ornament for your partner.

The ornament can be made from any medium you’d like. I picture it with a cardstock/cardboard base, but you can use clay, tin, or whatever medium is your favorite. It should have a hanger and a dangle from the bottom of some sort. Otherwise, your limits are boundless as imagination.

Sender’s choice.

Include a note with the Swap Title and your Swap-Bot ID so your partners know who to rate and thank.

Must be a member of SOHC in good standing to join. 4.98 minimum rating. At least 25 type 3 swaps under your belt. No recent 1’s or 3’s. I will angel if necessary.
