It is a good idea to mention no "sticker slapping" on the atcs for this swap. Some people will slap stickers on and call it an atc and that is not what it is. It is disappointing to receive one bc there is no effort.

I have no idea what a type 3 swap is, so I don't know if I qualify to join. I've been looking for ATC swaps. I did one years ago in a different group and it was fun.

A type 3 swap means sending a package. I believe an ATC would qualify for that.

Type 3 is a package OR craft that takes time. Something can be flat (like a type 2 swap) but because of the time factor, becomes a type 3. Like handmade note or greeting cards, ATCs, decorated envelopes (more elaborate than stickers and Washi) or postcards. It’s because these take time and/or money to fulfill. The more 5s someone has, the more trust there is for that person.

Confused in what an ATC is in regard to your explaining. I’ve done so many I have a collectors book of them. It is just an ATC 3 x 5 of a specific theme or senders choice swap on a backing like thickness of a playing card that’s fits in a trading card envelope . I use to sign the back of ATC also. Really, they are trading cards of art whether it is done in any medium like Paint, pen and ink etc. I’m some swaps you could then trade what you have received to another swapper like baseball cards trade. Is that what you are requesting!

A card that 3x5 is not an ATC, but there are people who trade other sizes of small art.

I just genrerized the si ze. I have a loose leaf with 100 A.TC’’s all fitting in baseball card pages and small art I noticed some that are called mini’s or inchied. Not necessarily an ATC which is 3.5 x 2.5 That’s right. Thanks for correction TC.

Im back!! I cannot believe I found myself on here... I just started making ATC for a few friends and decided that I MUST come back to Swapbot and get my 100 swap with 5s and hearts! My profile is old but its mostly correct except where I live now ,,and do lol..I want to join this swap but want to make sure I remember how to do this..I have ATC's, sleeves and envelopes... I always sign and date mine..thats ok correct? and what is the writing you do on the mailing envelope that post office needs to avoid stamping through?
