Each week, members watch a selected classic film then share their thoughts and reflections with their respective assigned partners. The goal is to form friendships and bring people together across distances, creating a welcoming community through a shared love of film and writing

I hope this message finds you well. I am thrilled to share some wonderful news about the future of our community. Over the past few months, our group has grown beautifully on the Swap-bot platform, fostering engaging film discussions, thoughtful conversations, and a strong sense of camaraderie. Your enthusiasm and participation have truly made these months successful.

However, we have also faced some challenges with Swap-bot, including limited security, occasional website crashes, and the platform's visual organization feeling overwhelming to new users. After careful consideration, the SSCC team has decided to move away from Swap-bot to create a better, safer, and more accessible environment for all members.

We are proud to announce that we have developed our own dedicated website! This new platform will allow us to implement enhanced security measures, improve accessibility, and provide a more seamless experience for everyone. It also opens up exciting opportunities for growth, more social activities, and a stronger sense of community.

Our current swaps will continue on Swap-bot until the end of this month. Starting in July, all new events will be hosted exclusively on our new website. We invite you to join us there and be part of this exciting new chapter. Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. We look forward to growing together in a safer and more engaging space.
