Calligraphy Practice #2

Calling all folks interested in calligraphy! Love playing with fountain pens? Prefer dip or brush pens? Swoon over cool inks? Enjoy incorporating calligraphy in your crafting? This swap focuses on calligraphy rather than brush lettering (here's a basic clip on the difference https://thehappyevercrafter.com/blog/calligraphy-vs-lettering/). Let's explore, build skills, share creations while also generating collage material.

This swap is for advanced beginners, intermediate and up. Send 1 swap participant 2 items: (1) A calligraphed letter describing what your interests are related to calligraphy. Use fountain, dip or brush pen; describe your pen, ink and paper if you wish; 1 page max. (2) One to 3 of your practice pages in any script that your partner might use for collage, junk journaling, etc. Optional: address the envie with calligraphy, making sure it is water-resistant and mail-friendly.

You can start before partner assignments. It's nice but not required to incorporate your partner's preferences.

Remember to include your username and the swap name for rating. Please rate your partner promptly when you receive. Rate a 5 for meeting criteria, not whether it aligns with your preferences. Hearts for extra creativity and/or effort. Be kind.

To join this swap, you must have a 4.98 minimum rating. No unexplained "1's or 3's." I reserve the right to remove a participant if I see any concerns. I'll let you know my concern so that you can try to address it if you still desire to join the swap.
