Round 3!

Once again lets share how we mail to our penpals. Do you make folders? matching letter set? Stuff it all in an envelope? Create a letter just without the letter.

Include:

  • an envelope

  • 3 items you would normally include with your penpal letters (stickers, washi, postcard, photos, cards, folders, paper(min 2 pg), atc, memo paper, ect)

and Incase that in a separate envelope so your partner can use them to send to their penpals. Making a "kit" for them to use on their next penpal letter. and if you feel like it include a separate letter and make a new pen friend :)

please remember that everyone penpals differently so what they include might be different than you.

This was fun! May I ask how others have sent the envelope? I made mine legal size, so hunting around for the correct size was hard. I ended up making one out of thick gift wrapping paper, so I could mail it off.

*That is to say, the fresh blank envelope for my partner was legal size. (Plus 2 mini envelopes, but those were no problem.) I used the gift wrap envelope, personally, to mail off the swap. If anyone has a solution to mailing off the letter set, please let me know!! Thank you.

I tend to send my penpal letters an standard size (4.5inches by 6.5inches) and have some bigger A5 envelopes (5.5 inches by 7.5 inches) that are great to send bigger things in. Maybe those might help :). I bought a pack of 100 so if you would like a few let me know and ill send you a few :)

Okay dumb question: Can we FOLD the brand new envelope we give them? 🤣 If we're partnered, I'd love any extra envelopes or examples of what the heck to do. Tysm! Appreciate you

I say totally go for it! I have no problem with folded envelopes so long as they aren't damaged:)
