Playing cards are such a great canvas to add your own creative designs to them. An altered playing card is similar to ATCs.

Please note that we will be using JUMBO playing cards in this swap

JUMBO cards are ones larger than a standard deck size and will vary (some say Texas or giant size, etc).

Size of card needs to be 3.25" x 4.75" or larger

These videos are examples using standard size cards. You be using cards larger than standard cards (JUMBO).

You can also search YouTube or Pinterest for other ideas on altered playing cards.

Please send your partner one altered JUMBO playing card. This is sender’s choice so you can begin designing your card once you sign up.

AT LEAST ONE CORNER EXPOSING THE CARD RANK AND SUIT NEEDS TO BE SHOWING.

+Design can be vintage looking, humorous, bright and colorful, sassy, or any other artistic ideas you have seen.

+Do not make a religious nor a political APC

+You may use ephemera but not required (for example Tim Holtz paper dolls)

+Please, NO Sticker slapping on the playing card (boring), backgrounds can be various papers, paint, texture… but please add something on top to tie the design together (die-cuts, ephemera, see my card above if you aren’t sure, etc)

+Please, refer to the video links in order to make an eye pleasing completed APC.

+Please make an effort in your card Something you would be happy to receive yourself or someone special (like your swap partner )

+Must have completed 10 (ten) Type 3 swaps with an overall score of 5.00

RECAP: You will make a total of 1 JUMBO APCs, and mailing one to your partner using the videos and photo above as a reference for ideas.
