Should the used postage stamps be washed or do you prefer that they're still affixed to their original envelope? Are we allowed to make suggestions for topics? If so, I'd like to request stamps with food and/or Mona Lisa on them.

You can request what sort of stamps you like best but it is up to your partner what she will send you and it is no requirement to send what the receiver wants. Either way is fine with me, postage stamps can be off or on paper.
