I've recently collected a few gnome postcards and have fallen in love with these. I've got some I'd love to send out and share the Gnome - y love. So for this swap, you'll send postcards with a gnome on them to your partners.

Swap Details:

  • You will have two partners
  • You will send one gnome based postcard to each of your partners (you'll send two cards in total)
  • Postcards are sender's choice but must have a gnome on them.
  • Postcards can be store bought or handmade
  • Postcards should be sent naked (written on and stamped) unless your partner specifies in the comments.

This swap is international and open to newbies (with a filled out profile). No one with a rating below 4.7. Those with recent ratings of 1s or 3s please contact before joining. I will angel if need be, but really hope I don't need to!

@cathepsut you can never have too many LOL.

@Maggiesmother etsy is a great place that's where I've found mine (okay so they are "homemade" by someone but still technically) I've also seen some on ebay that are either vintage cards or store bought.

Darn, I have only Troll cards, not gnomes :( I totally love Gnomes (esp. the books swap-picture points) but I have not seen any cards :( ...btw, is 'christmas' gnomes ok?

@solarts ... i was answering Maggiesmother's question. Just search "gnome postcard" on ebay or etsy and there are a selection of results they are uncommon, but that's what makes this swap intresting

@silvermoonsnake i think christmas gnomes are perfectly all right.

And rememeber, these cards can be homemade as well! I wish you all luck on your quest to find gnome cards, and for those of you who need some more time to get a card, i've created Gnome Postcard Swap #3 With dates starting March 15th.

@violettdream I totally scored today, I found a gnome postcard booklet with 30 different cards!!!!!! Sign me up for the next 15 swaps! :-)
