Hello! My name is Ashley. I am a 40 year old California native who now lives in Georgia, the state not the country 😋 I live at home with my mom, sister, my brother in law and 4 cats . So a busy household

I am an introverted soul who enjoys music, reading, word puzzles, jig saw puzzles, writing letters to pen pals stretching/yoga.

I am a Taurus so my zodiac element earth. Even though I was supposed to be a Leo or Cancer, I guess I was just too stubborn and had to come into this world in early May. I definitely think I connect with my zodiac. I am stubborn, protective/possessive, and can have a temper if you push me enough.

My favorite color is blue, always has been. I don’t know why. The sky is blue. Water is blue. It’s just a calming neutral color.

My favorite season is fall and I absolutely LOVE Christmas .In fact I get two Christmases every year. Christmas in July where I watch Christmas movies and THE Christmas where not only do I watch Christmas movies, I get to enjoy the crisp cold weather and lots of hot chocolate…YUM.

As far as reading books, I pretty much enjoy anything except for anime, manga, comic books… not my thing.

Music: I enjoy the GenX music(yes i was raised right :-)), my generation, Millenial, music: Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion(absolutely love her), NSYNC etc. Now that I am living in the south I really enjoy country music. I also really love ambient /meditative music of any kind. My favorite is Jazz and Blues instrumental music. My favorite brand of Blues is called “Whiskey Blues” They have many different kinds which means I can listen to what matches my emotions at the time. Overall if my ears like it, I will listen to it.

When it comes to writing letters I enjoy writing on any kind of paper. I try to make it fun by writing on vintage paper with a wax seal on the back of the envelope. So if you see it , you know it’s from me. I also like to at stickers to the letter to make it fun, especially when it comes to seasons and holidays.

I can’t think of anything that I don’t like right now. However I kindly ask that you keep religion, politics, and sexuality out of your letters. I think we can all agree that we get enough of it on tv, social media(which I am deleting all of my social media so I can start to live in the present moment and not check my phone every 5 seconds), radio and so forth. As my mother has drilled in to my head many times, when it comes to religion, politics, and sexuality , keep it at home. And even at home don’t talk about it. I completely agree with her. All it does is burn bridges down. People start fighting and stop talking to each other based on those 3 factors which is sad and depressing.

Well I hope this is enough interesting information to intrigue others to get to know me on a deeper level and begin a long lasting friendship .
