Life got lifey and I'm gonna do like a beloved orange and black striped fellow from the Hundred Acre Wood and bounce for a bit. Pen pals are welcome--just know I’m prioritizing deadlines differently. I don’t anticipate being gone forever, but for now.

All swaps have been sent. Everything received as of my last online date has been rated. If you’re missing a rating, I’m sorry. I know it’s disappointing not to be acknowledged for your creation. I can promise I’m not going to suddenly reappear and start downrating, though.

Overthinking is my superpower and my kryptonite. I tend towards glass half full, lean irreverent, and am prone to laugh inopportunely. A dark sense of humor keeps me upright most days.

Dust bunnies are no threat to houseplants. Every spring, I release a couple 100 into the garden. I detest housework.

I am frequently surprised to find myself an adult, and what’s more, an old one. Adultness is not at all what I expected when I was a child. Neither is oldness.

Swap-bot has been unstable in recent months, so it’s possible it won’t be here when I’m ready to return. But, OMGEEEEEEE it’s been fun!

• I have knitted with toothpicks, wrecked a composition book, written obituaries for inanimate objects, and crafted an ATC of toilet paper.
• “Sticker Slapped” has entered the family lexicon for anything half-assed
• There is a jar of prompts and a scrapbook of kiwis on the shelf
• I still use a vintage upcycled silk scarf from a $2 thrift swap, a pair of mittens from a one skein knitting project, and a sacred heart of Jesus flashlight keychain (and yes, it is as awesome as you might think and already assigned in my will)
