Hi! I’m Annemarie, a lifelong animal lover, musician, and generally curious person. I live in St. Louis with my rescue dogs, who are a very important part of my life!

I’m a piano singer-songwriter and have written a rather ridiculous number of songs over the years. I’m also learning guitar and slowly building out my little home music studio. I love the creative process—especially writing songs, playing piano, and noticing the strange little thoughts or observations that eventually turn into something.

Animals are another huge part of my world. I have a particular soft spot for rescue dogs and tend to become emotionally invested in the animals I meet. I’ve spent a lot of time around animal rescue and advocacy, and I’m always interested in hearing people’s stories about their pets and the animals that have changed their lives.

I also love traveling by road with my dogs and exploring different parts of the country. I’m happiest somewhere with beautiful scenery, interesting little towns, good walking, and enough quiet to actually notice my surroundings.
