Hi all! I've mentioned in my profile before that I deal with chronic illness and that has recently culminated in a new diagnosis that has left me in and out of hospitals and working on a treatment plan. While I’m still so excited to get back to swapping after having to take an extended break, sometimes I am a little behind on rating or responding to messages. Swapping brings so much joy to my mailbox and I love sending things out. Please be patient and kind with me, as I don’t flake or ever intentionally miss a requirement. Books: My favorite books are fashion books, cookbooks, and bibliographies/memoirs. My favorite memoir is "My Life in France" by Julia Child. She was so amazingly passionate about what she did.

I also like all kinds of cookbooks and craft books. Really any cuisine, topic, or craft. I am a passionate baker so any vintage dessert cookbooks will be well loved.

For fiction, I don't read a ton of it, but I like easy reads like Bridget Jones' Diary, Confessions of a Shopaholic, etc. Things that are a fun esacpe!

Music: I love almost all kinds of music. My favorite is rock, pop, and indie. Some of my favorite bands/artists include: Nickelback, Peter Cincotti, Sara Bareilles, Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor, Linkin Park, Guns N Roses, Andy Grammer, Imagine Dragons, and OneRepublic. I also have a soft spot for 90s/2000s boy bands.

The only types I'm not a fan of are rap and heavy metal.

Movies/TV: My favorite things to watch are dramas and comedies. Some of my favorite movies are: Pitch Perfect, Julie/Julia Project, Gone in 60 Seconds, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Coyote Ugly, Sex and the City, The Devil Wears Prada, and Breakfast at Tiffany's.

I do not like horror movies.

My favorite TV shows are: The Bear, Top Chef, THe Buccaneers, Revenge, Nashville, Scandal, The Tudors, Reign, State of Affairs, Mad Men, Once Upon a Time, The Newsroom, House of Cards, and Game of Thrones. We're currently watching The Sandman on Netflix and while it's a bit out of my comfort zone, has been creepy cool.

On any given weekend you can probably find me wandering the book store or working on a DIY. My crafts of choice are: - Jewelry-making - Crocheting - Cricut Crafts - Baking - Photography
