I took a short break and I'm back for a swap every now and then. My craft room is my kitchen because I love cooking and baking, and I'm having fun making wax seals. I'm retired from a long career in software engineering and web application architecture. There is no end to my frustration with this website. And from my professional perspective, there is no excuse for not fixing all the bugs.
I'm having trouble logging on to Swap-bot; as of today, March 22, it's been more than a week since I was last able get on. I've lost track of swaps in the meantime. If I owe you a rating, use my email address in the See the partners you send to window to let me know. Since I'm not here often enough to know. And it's okay if you can't rate the swap I've sent you. I'm no longer trying to keep track of everything.
I like to swap notes and letters and blank postcards and kawaii though my kawaii is vintage because I haven't bought any in the last couple of years. Except I now have a couple of kawaii brass stamps to make kawaii wax seals.
I'm traveling while I can - Southeast Asia in January, Greece last August, Amsterdam and Rome last March. In 2024 I went to Scotland and Amsterdam and Belgium. In 2023 I went to Southern Africa (still ranks as the best trip ever) and Israel. My first post-Covid trip was Northern Italy in 2022. I bring home stacks of postcards, when I can find them. I traveled the world for work and learned about local cultures, but never had time to see many sights. Now I am.

Back in 2023 you shared a link on my profile to your washi collection. I was just "shopping" over there again. Really cute stuff. Thanks for sharing with me.
💞💞💞 Thank you for the Lou Paper postcard, True RAK. Have safe travels for a long trip! Colorado is having unusual weather in the 60's and no snow for Christmas. I think 2026 will be a year of more True RAKs.
Good heavens manders! This is just too much! Frankly, I don't know what to say. Thank you seems inadequate. Wow wow wow. I'm blown away. Thanks a skillion!!
I love what you sent to me for CPG Just a Note + Tuck-in #81-US. I love reading of your adventures! I travel alone also, even at my old age LOL, and found your travels interesting! Keep travelin' !
Thanks ever so much for the RAK mail! The washi is wonderful but my favourite is the one with children on it, reminds me of the author Elsa Beskow? Where is the washi from? Great stamps and fab postcard!
Thank you for the delightful RAK based on the PTG: July Scavenger Hunt. I wish I HAD been your partner. (We don't connect on Swap-bot as often as I'd like.) Wonderful PCs, made even better with your annotations. I've never been to the top of Rockefeller Center, but I love the rooftop at the Met. Enjoy your trip to Greece - one of my favorite countries. Spent a memorable summer & fall on Crete.
Thank you for the RAK of kawaii letter sets! That was so thoughtful and generous of you. I also love the wax seal that you made. It is so pretty! I hope you have a wonderful time in Greece and good luck with the chipmunks.
Thank you for the birthday PC! I wish you lived closer as well. It would be nice to get together for my birthday or to have one of your homemade baked cakes. Perhaps one of these days. :) (June WW)
Another surprise and another feeling of being spoiled with Ruth's powerful images to grace my swaps!!
