Hello there!

Welcome to my little corner of swap-bot!

My name is Sara, I’m 25, I live in Sri Lanka and I’m a Psychology student! I live on the coast of my beautiful paradise island that’s unfortunately being plagued by money hungry old men who are destroying our ecosystems.

I live with my sick father and study online. My circumference of the world is limited, and my social life is non existent. Joining Swap-Bot seemed like a great way to make friends!

I love books, poetry, writing and traveling. I’ve got four dogs one of whom had puppies recently bringing the grand total up to 7! Yes it’s a lot 😅

I’m not much of a collector, so I prefer not getting things like postcards because it tends to clutter up my space and I find it hard to study. I would prefer receiving perishables, but handmade anything is most welcome because I understand the sentimental value behind it ♥️

I’m a feminist who’s queer and also atheist, triple threat I know I know 😂

If there are young kiddos (or anyone in general) who need a friend to talk to about anything that’s keeping you up at night, please always feel free to write to me! I’ve been through and still am going through my fair share of 💩 sometimes it helps to talk to someone who can relate.

Old love songs. I KNOW IT’S CHEESY but I love love songs. From Eric Clapton to Bryan Adams.

I also LOVE rock music from back in the day, I’ve got a tattoo of some Queen lyrics on me. I adore those four dumb dumbs.

And then there’s the generic “happy” music from the 2000s that I love, like ‘Kiss Me’, ‘Bad Day’ etc

I’m a second generation kpop fan (bts fans stay away 😂) , I love Super Junior, SHINee, literally most of the second gen. The only exception from the third gen is NCT. my biases are Kyuhyun, Donghae & Johnny.

Yeah my music taste is sorta everywhere but I don’t necessarily think that’s a bad thing?

A Little Life - Hanya Yanagiihara (this book killed me), The Song of Achilles - Madeline Miller (currently reading), When God was a Rabbit - Sarah Winman (oh how I adore this book), A Long Journey Home - Saroo Brierley (Lion, movie), Eat, Pray, Love - Elizabeth Gilbert (listen, it’s worth the hype), Chinese Cinderella - Adeline Yen Mah (a real treasure)

I LOVE romcoms. The top three are as follows: The Proposal, My best Friend’s Wedding, Four Wedding and a Funeral,

I also love Lord of the Rings, Narnia, sappy love stories like a Walk to Remember, cheesy teen movies like It’s a Boy Girl Thing. And Disney of course of course! Not the princessy ones tho :’)

I LOVE the Marvel Cinematic Universe!! I’ve always wanted to be an actress in the MCU! Things have changed but hey a girl can dream? 😉

And my go to is always always HORROR!!! When I was a kid I swore to stay away from demonic anything, but here I am anyway 😅 James Wang is my boiiiii

Oh I also really like Korean movies and can speak Korean!
