I am 53 years old. I have been working in acrylics, but watercolor is my favorite. I have come to an 'art block'. I don't want to create anything that I've been doing recently. I've been in a strange place artistically. I haven't swapped in a long time. I thought this might help me shake it and get to know some awesome artists as well.

I like a wierd and wild variety of music. I like 70's and 80's country because that is what I was raised up listening to, some 80's alternative, orchestral scores from movies and new age music for when I'm reading. My tastes are as wide as anywhere from Wille Nelson to Enya.

Historical fiction is my favorite. Clean and cozy mysteries are great if they are well written. I do not like to read anything from the present time. I read books to transport me from this time period to another that I find more interesting.

Documentaries on animals are always interesting. I like smart 'who done it' mysteries. 'The Office' is what I watch for comfort. I like some cartoons, 80's shows and movies.

Any paper crafts and drawing. Altered art is something I look at from afar. I would like to try it.

Likes~ My granddaughters, writing, the smell of books, koala bears, Jesus, camping, my kid's laughter, trees, yellow finches, frogs, Halloween, rabbits, bright colors, birds, pugs, rocks and minerals, scrapbook papers, gel pens, castles, journals, seventies toys,
crazy colored and striped socks, MINI Coopers,

Dislikes~horror, blood, animal abuse, makeup, shopping.

I have received cards that had special notes and stickers. I wanted to say thank you to all who sent those little "extras".
