my name is kiara. you can also call me katara or kat. i'm 24. i live in sydney, australia (in the western suburbs).

i work as a library assistant - and i've just started at a new library (22/10/2025). i like reading and am a big believer in continuous learning. i'm an ambivert who enjoys being creative, journaling, cozy gaming, art, and crafts. i love pastel colours, animals, and simple illustrations. · .˚ ༘♡⋆｡˚🌷

i really appreciate snail mail / happy mail and "slowing down" to write or read mail. i tend to stress out a lot so it's a calming activity for me to penpal or plan/create a swap. unfortunately there are swaps can be stressful too, especially if something has gone missing or gone wrong, i ask that you have patience with me and try to be understand. i am a "hidden sunflower".

i really like animals, tea and botanicals

♡ cute animals! i love cats, quokkas, red pandas, quolls, potoroos, pademelons, dunnarts, and wallabies (if you've not heard of some of these - they're native australian wildlife, feel free to google them!)

♡ pastel colours

♡ green tea & fruit tea

♡ plants and flowers (love mint and lavender)

♡ fruits! strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, fruit farms

♡ art markets - they always make me broke but i love seeing and supporting all the local artists

♡ photos! i enjoy taking and sharing instax photos, and photostrip photos (photostrips usually at events)

♡ cute stamps - I try to add nice ones to my swaps wherever possible.

there are a few things i don't like so if you could avoid sending them to me i would appreciate that ♡ lying. please don't lie to me, let's be honest with each other. didn't send a swap on time? that's alright, please just communicate.

♡ racism. it's not acceptable.

♡ animal cruelty. animals do not deserves to suffer, be trapped, become endangered or extinct, have their home destroyed or be used for experimentation. no animal circus related items.

♡ no realistic horror, gore, scary stuff or medical stuff please.

♡ cigarettes.

♡ puffy stickers - i am not a fan please don't send me puffy, foam or thick stickers

♡ ad postcards that aren't tasteful - museum, art gallery or historical postcards are okay but please no businesses, nothing that you would not display on your own bedroom wall. (unless swap specifies ad postcards ofc)

♡ nudity/sexual content - sorry i'm a sensitive asexual baby and i don't wanna see anything for "mature audiences only".

♡ handmade postcards that are low effort, very small/thin and/or made of paper instead of cardstock. with my postal service you are also risking it will get damaged because thin cards can get stuck or ripped during processing.

my absolute favourite things to receive are stickers from local artists, mini animal/plant stickers and art postcards.

quality over quantity ໒꒰´ ˘ ` ꒱ა

i am happy with anything though, thoughtful messages, cute drawings.
